Ömer Bucak

Prof. Dr. Ömer Bucak ist einer der Begründer des konstruktiven Glasbaus in Deutschland. Für seine Forschungsarbeit auf den Gebieten des Stahlbaues, des Verbundglases und geklebten Glaskonstruktionen erhielt er 2018 für sein Lebenswerk die Auszeichnung des Deutschen Stahlbaus. 1995 wurde der heute emeritierte HM-Professor an die Fakultät für Bauingenieurwesen der HM berufen. Hier gründete und leitete er viele Jahre das Labor für Stahl- und Leichtmetallbau der HM.
