Karl Hammer

1960 wurde der Physiker Prof. Dr. Karl Hammer zum Direktor des Oskar-von-Miller-Polytechnikums berufen, 1971 war er der Gründungspräsident der Fachhochschule München. Hammer gab wesentliche Impulse zur Ingenieurschulreform und zur Durchsetzung des Hochschulstatus – und wurde so zu einem der Väter der bayerischen Fachhochschulen.
